EXPERIENCE

2008-2012            JC Home Medical, Inc.             Director of Wound Care division                                                Jacksonville, FL           

Hired to direct a start up wound care division.  When hired, the wound care division had no Negative Pressure wound care on patients.  Within the first year the wound care division was running an average of 27 to 30 units per week.  After 3 years, company carries 3 different types of wound pumps that I selected.  Instrumental in working to acquire large contracts not only for my division but for the whole company.  JC Home Medical is a full service DME (durable medical equipment).

 

2007-2008            Medela Healthcare            Consultant                        McHenry,  IL

Consultant duties included but not limited to sales to DMEs as well as physicians.  Established insurance contracts both government payers as well as third party payers.  Consulted on choice options related to billing practice through out the U.S. as well as managing RFPs, bids, and pricing structure.  Wrote policy and procedure manuals for wound care division.

 

2003-2007            KCI, Inc.                             Regional Manager                        Southeast  U.S.

Regional Manager for the Southeastern United States.  Directly responsible for 17 employees throughout the five state territory Responsible for implementing processes to obtain high productivity, while maintaining maximum standard.  Created and maintained a safe and satisfying work environment which ensured a high rate of employee retention.

Responsibilities included but not limited to, meeting coverage deadlines, insuring efficient workflow, performance appraisals, employee productivity. Directly responsible for supervising up to 30 employees which included hiring and performance appraisals.

Responsibilities included, but not limed to, working with field account representatives and physicians while overseeing sales and the order intake and billing process.  Office Manager during the introduction of a highly innovative product.

Began as a Certified Dental Assistant.  Worked chair side four handed dentistry.  Took impressions, placed matrix bands, rubber dams, placed base in teeth as needed, packed rope around tooth for impressions.  Promoted to office manager responsible for all daily operations within the practice obtaining insurance benefits for patients, going over treatment plans with patient and P&L reporting to only the doctor, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll.  Being cross trained would make me a huge asset.
