FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
1) Interpreting and applying personnel, pay and leave rules and/or regulations for accurate pay processing; 2) Performing and verifying arithmetical computations to determine pay entitlements; 3) Performing pay adjustments and corrections to resolve issues with pay (e.g. overpayments, unauthorized payments, duplicate payments); 4) Identifying and resolving discrepancies to update and reconcile pay accounts; 5) Experience using CFMS and SABRS Site Modules to maintain financial operating Targets (OPTAR's); 6) Experience administratively setting up new and/or maintaining Defense Travel System (DTS) sites and SLDCADA providing policy and procedural guidance. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
