ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

To qualify for the ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN, GS-0856-12, your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying a wide range of technical electronics methods, techniques, procedures and policies sufficient to serve as subject matter expert for shipboard systems problems, repair, maintenance and ship C5I (Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Combat and Intelligence) modernization Experience with all shipboard combat system related disciplines (such as computer, fire control, navigation, gun weapons, air search radar, Aegis Weapon Systems, ship control system, etc.) in order to analyze problems from an overall system viewpoint Experience complying with U.S. Navy specifications and regulations pertaining to design, maintenance, repair, safety and operation of assigned equipment systems Experience resolving problems in a stressful environment and while under constant pressure for rapid results to meet operational schedules Experience communication effectively both orally and in writing to present findings, briefings and reports. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
