Computer Vision C++ Engineer

Robert Half IT SEARCH is looking for a Computer Vision C++ Engineer for a proven and highly tenured client leading the real-time application development space. This position will be located full-time in Jacksonville, FL with relocation assistance provided and extensive travel will be required for the first 3-6 months and based on the ramp up time needed on an individual basis. All travel and accommodations will be cared for 100 with per diem in addition. Overview of Engineer Position Design, code, test and debug applications by providing code development, algorithm design, product release and support to both internal and external clients. Main objectives will be to develop computer vision-based tracking system software and systems with an emphasis on enhancing image processing and improving object tracking algorithms. Works in conjunction with both West and East Coast developers, analysts and management to collaboratively determine best program design. Develops application libraries, develops and designs new algorithms, creates tests, debug applications and documents all software contributions related to this new software. Provides in depth technical training on new computer vision software application to ensure proper use and support Provides ongoing product support to internal personnel and clients on the use of the software. Modifies software when necessary and works with QA team to update test plans and documentation. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
