Powerbuilder Programmer

Robert Half Technology is looking for a Programmer Analyst who combines a real passion for formulating and defining systems scope and objectives with an understanding of software and applications programming and industry requirements. In this role, you would provide recommendations for developing or modifying applications or databases, using research and fact-finding. Your responsibilities - Builds and maintains dictionaries for applications and systems support by the analyst - Supports end users and other partner groups, providing ongoing training and assistance for a particular application, system or process - Build and assess programming changes for every phase of systems development prior to implementation. Record test cases and expected results. Ensure results meet requirements. May develop basic tests or a defined subset of a larger system test. May make suggestions regarding acceptancerejection if not all requirements are met - Analyzes and records issues, collaborating with other programmers to fix code problems - Evaluates processing procedures and suggests ways to improve - Guides internal clients on applications, systems andor processes for identifying and resolving, processingreporting programming problems. Provides consultation through troubleshooting andor education - Helps develop communication content for particular system changes being implemented in production - Reviews user requests for changes or improvements to systems. Records functional requirements and analyzes cost, feasibility and utility. Makes suggestions regarding how, when and whether to make the changes- Comprehensive understanding of programming languages - 5 years experience as a project leader for the business portion of developmental applications or major systems improvements - General knowledge of mainframe hardwaresoftware and PC operations required - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - PowerBuilder experience desired - Proven success acting in a project management capacity

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
