5082 - Data Entry Rep. - 264 - Imaging JAX

SUMMARY

To ensure that all hard copy and electronically received documents are legibly scanned, verifies, accurately encoded and routed to the appropriate departments on a daily basis. Responsible for researching and correcting problem to prevent delays in the final billing and/or settlement process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure the timely processing of documents received daily.

  • Verify and research information in the iSeries 400 and Transflo Capture software. Maintain daily production reports to provide information for departmental measurements.

  • Scan documents using Batch Scan software, while meeting the required department quota for this function.

  • Verify legibility and make enhancements using the VRS software.

  • Encode scanned documents according to internal and external requirements, while meeting the required department quota for this function.

  • Forward misrouted mail/documents to the appropriate departments.

  • Locate and retrieve original documents from storage.

  • Maintain accurate storage rotation and destroy originals in accordance with retention guidelines.

  • Availability to work mandatory overtime.

  • Part time employees may occasionally be required to work extra hours, not to exceed 34. 5 hours in a week.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Data entry skills, 110+ kpm, required

  • Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, and Outlook required.

  • Ability to maneuver between multiple windows with mouse, required

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to multitask and meet numerous daily deadlines

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED), required; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
