Infrastructure Design & Support - Systems Engineer

Hi Partner, We are looking for consultants for below positions. Title System Engineer Location Jacksonville, FL Minimum Job Requirements middot Must have experience with installing Splunk forwarders and building Splunk dashboards middot Extensive knowledge of a distributed Splunk installation indexers, forwarders, search heads, clusters. middot Strong knowledge of Splunk search language. middot Ability to troubleshoot Splunk performance issues in both a Windows and Linux environment. middot Working knowledge of LANWAN equipment and related services middot Working knowledge of SAN and NAS storage technologies. middot Experience with networking, server, application and web technologies middot Support Splunk on Linux, Windows on both physical and virtualized platforms middot Solid understanding of logging technologies (HEC, syslog, Windows, and UNIX native logging) middot Familiar with Splunk architecture and best practices middot Ideally would possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate clearly and professionally to emails, and when submitting reports. middot Need to be organized and analytical, and be able to document processes and procedures middot Strong experience administering and monitoring enterprise operating systems, including Linux and Windows servers middot Programming and development skills in at least some of following Python, Perl, PowerShell, shell scripting, regular expressions (REGEX required) Preferred
5 years relevant experience in supporting software products to IT organizations
Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred but not required
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Splunk certifications are a plus, but not required
Experience and familiarity with IT management products and services
Experience with networking, server, application and web technologies

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
