Clinical Integration Consultant

Job Summary
This role is accountable for engaging and implementing healthcare providers and/or their vendors in Clinical Information Exchange (CIE). Consultants are seasoned subject matter experts who apply specialized knowledge, typically as individual contributions, in primarily assisting senior and executive management in matters that require special interpretation or expertise. Incumbents may directly manage a small number of direct reports; the primary function of the role is consulting.
Essential Functions
Effectively interpret, communicate, and implement the Clinical Information Exchange business strategy.
Participate on and/or lead critical or complex initiatives and projects.
Advise management on options, opportunities, risks, solutions, cost vs. benefits, and impacts on business processes, systems, employees, etc.
Maintain frequent contact with internal and external business partners to obtain and share information for influencing decisions, selling concepts, and/or providing advice and counsel that impacts business decisions and objectives.
Lead the design and development of complex tools, systems, processes, programs, etc. that directly impact business decisions and objectives.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor others.
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Required Work Experience
6 years Business Analysis experience
1 years formal project management/coordination experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills to include online and in-person presentation to all levels of an organization
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Work Experience
1 years hands-on experience with HL7 data
Clinical experience in healthcare delivery, information technology, or case/utilization management

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
