IT PMO Manager
Position
Summary:
The Kemper Services Group is seeking to hire an experienced IT PMO Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. As a Kemper IT PMO Manager you oversee the project management operations group which supports the standards, tools, and reporting for project needs both Kemper Specialty California and Kemper Personal and Commercial Lines Non-standard and Commercial lines of business. You will have the opportunity to lead a team of project managers, elevating the capabilities of project management in support of consistent, superior execution.
Working in this IT team, you will manage the tools, metrics and project management standards to provide quality, timely and cost effective information services in support of company mission and strategies. Ensure that project management standards are implemented and adhered to, proactive metrics are developed and reported as well as special projects are managed, delivered on time, within budget and with agreed upon scope. Interface with business customers and other IT areas to ensure optimal communication and successful project implementations.
Position
Qualifications:
5
years of experience in information services and insurance
Experience hiring, training, coaching and supervising Information Systems employees
PMO process, PWA tool, metric creation and reporting experience required
Previous Project Management and Portfolio experience
Education equivalent to a college degree in computer science or related field, or the equivalent in related work experience
