IT Project Manager

Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or closely related field.
Experience:
Eight (8) years of full-time experience managing the implementation and support of complex projects
Other Requirements and Desired Skills:
Knowledge in Project Management software solutions a plus.
Certfication in project management required
Certification with ITIL a plus.
Possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
Ability to interpret technical procedures to customers and other personnel.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Information Technology department employees and customer representatives.
Ability to give clear and consistent instructions to team members.
Knowledge of and ability to utilize current word processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail and Internet software.
Reasonable knowledge of current hardware and software technologies and uses.
Writing proficiency and visual design skills.
Oral presentation skills.
Ability to develop, lead, motivate and supervise working teams.
Considerable problem solving and decision-making skills
Job Description: LogistiCare is the nation's leading managed healthcare organization specializing in the management of healthcare transportation benefits. LogistiCare's client base consists of state and local government agencies (Medicaid agencies, transit authorities, school boards), managed care organizations and hospitals. LogistiCare is not a provider of transportation vehicles (we do not physically own vehicles). Instead, LogistiCare manages a network of transportation providers and provides the administrative infrastructure to authorize services and provide billing and claims payment functionality allowing LogistiCare to offer a complete outsourcing solution to our clients.
The IT Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, management, and completion of IT projects on a wide variety of business processes and programs. This project manager works with customers to develop project scope of work documents and project plans and identifies the technical approach to be used on a given project in conjunction with the other managers in the team. The IT Project Manager will also manage the system development process to make sure all deliverables and documentation requirements are met and document opportunities to integrate systems and resources to fulfill project requirements within other projects the teams may be working. Duties may require 24 hour, seven days per week on-call responsibility for project support.

Responsibilities:
Works with appropriate customers to identify and coordinate new IT system developments and/or enhancements.
Works with appropriate customers to develop project scope of work documents and project plans that include an analysis of benefit, cost, work schedule and any related risks.
Assigns, schedules, trains, reviews, and monitors project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time and within budget. Mentors and provides expertise to other project team members.
Works with appropriate customers to identify the roles of project team members, project reporting structures and frequency of interaction and any training requirements that may be needed for a team member to complete an IT project.
Helps to define the responsibilities of parties involved in the project including customers, management, IT management, project team, vendors and others affected by the project.
Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of IT projects. Facilitates amicable solutions with the appropriate customer(s).
Maintains effective communication and working relationships with customers, vendors, and project team members.
Documents and tracks the technical approach to be used on a given IT project and facilitates the system development process is followed using current best practice guidelines including the development of a strategic plan, systems analysis, technical design, testing and acceptance of an IT system and/or application.
Develops IT system review schedules, audits and acceptance tests for each phase of a project. Researches existing IT systems in the marketplace and recommends viable IT solutions.
Develops Requests for Proposals (RFP), evaluates responses, and leads IT system selection teams to document opportunities to integrate IT systems and resources to fulfill project requirements.
Prepares and presents oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations.
Organizes and conducts project team meetings.
Other tasks as so assigned.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
