Schedule/Shift: 8a-5p; Monday - Friday; Target Start Date: Immediate

Medical Scheduler needed for ourbusy specialty practice
Handles new patient referrals, gathers necessary information, enters the patient information into the system and schedules/reschedules appointments
Serves as a liaison between the practice and referring physician
Schedules new patients in electronic medical records (EMR)
Excellent customer service and telephone skills
Answers phone calls, takes messages, routes calls and messages to the appropriate departments
Team player, able to work with office staff
Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
Completes insurance verifications and prior authorizations
Full Time
Job Requirements:
Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 2 years office experience in a medical setting required.
EMR experience required (AllScripts is a plus)
