Laboratory Supervisor (Healthcare Sciences)
Position: Laboratory Supervisor Part-Time
Schedule: Must be available 13 hours/week during the laboratory hours of Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm

Job Responsibilities
As a Laboratory Supervisor, on a part-time basis, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the laboratory. The position will oversee the laboratory operations in scheduling and performing assigned tests on specimens in accordance with standard operating procedures. The Laboratory Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring the overall services, developing quality and performance indicators, and ensuring continuous quality improvement.
In this position you will ensure work is performed in accordance with regulatory requirements, policies/procedures, and departmental standards in regards to safety, OSHA, HIPAA, and other JCAHO compliance.

Job Requirements
Must be available 13 hours/week during the laboratory hours of Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm
Successful candidates for the Laboratory Supervisor must hold an active Laboratory Supervisor license for the state of Florida.
Additional requirements of the Laboratory Supervisor include:
Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology, or a chemical, biological, or physical science. Other appropriate technical qualifications will be considered.
At least 3 years of experience in a laboratory environment with a solid understanding of laboratory practices.
Familiarity in chemistry, toxicology, hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation is ideal
A proven track record of accurate and detailed assessments with the ability to use standard laboratory equipment and perform standardized and routine assignments.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
