Title Clerk
The Closing Specialist is responsible for coordinating residential real estate closings with title agencies. This position is responsible for monitoring and completing single and bulk real estate closings for the Asset Acquisitions Group.
o Coordinates with Transaction Manager and title agencies to complete real estate closings
o Manages large volume of closings simultaneously
o Reviews purchase contracts, settlement statements, disclosures, and title policies
o Coordinates with Transaction Manager and Finance to send settlement funds
o Prepares custodian files for acquired assets
o Follow up on trailing documents
o Works with title companies to clear title as necessary
o Meet or exceed productivity and efficiency goals
o Other duties as assigned
Requirements
o Possess highly developed interaction skills necessary to establish and maintain positive relationship with Transaction Managers and title agencies
o Advanced understanding of residential real estate closings
o Self motivated and team player - ability to work well within a group
o Strives to achieve and exceed productivity expectations and standards
o Ability to work effectively and efficiently with automated systemsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
