Apartment Maintenance Technician

Apartment complex located on the Southside of Jacksonville is seeking a hard working, detail oriented member of our maintenance team who understands the importance of CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is a full time position.
Our best candidate will have the following:
- HVAC and pool certification REQUIRED
- Some Plumbing, and Electrical Experience
- Can handle work orders and take direction from Community Manager
- Be willing to paint and clean apartments as needed
- Maintain a professional image and attitude in keeping with the objectives of Management and residents' welfare.
- At the beginning of each morning shift, report to the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor the daily needs of the property as well as receive daily assignments.
-Report any observed or reported problems in units or on the property to the Property Manager
- Physical elements of the job may require heavy lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing and carrying.
- Keep the property, trash receptacle areas, hallways, common areas, garages and/or parking lots, in a neat and orderly manner preventing trash or debris from accumulating
- May be required to vacuum and/or blow clear hallways, parking areas and/or breezeways two or
three times a week as needed.
- Complete work orders in a timely (24 hrs) fashion
- Regular maintenance of the building exteriors, building interiors and common
- Empty lint filters in laundry equipment at least once per week.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
