Operates machines that perform filling and packaging functions.
Makes minor adjustments as needed.
Inspects filled packets to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.
Fills out production work orders properly, to include start/stop times, down time codes, and packaging material used.
Dismantles, cleans and sanitizes equipment.
Performs minor mechanical repairs and light preventative maintenance.
Completes changeovers as per the production schedule.
Fills in for other positions as necessary.
Qualifications:
A minimum of three months previous experience in the food/beverage manufacturing industry preferred.
Basic computer/electronic data processing skills A solid understanding of process improvement methods Good time management skills Basic understanding of cleaning practices and cleaning chemicals.
Attention to detail and excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Must provide own tools.
