This position is responsible for communicating with Case Managers and Adjusters regarding patient treatment.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Communicate with Case Manager or Adjuster to obtain authorization for continued services Review documentation from Providers and communicate with Providers in order to update stakeholders and ensure progress of the patient.
Follow up on critical timelines for obtaining documentation Identify quality assurance or utilization management issues or concerns involving patient care and address or escalate as needed to appropriate departments Maintain thorough, up-to-date notation on each patient in the communication log Address Provider / Client related complaints EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent required GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and general computer skills Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task Uses intuition and experience to complement data Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner Ability to communicate with Providers and Clients via phone and email.
