SR Risk Control Analyst

An energy client of Insight Global is looking for someone to join the Credit and Risk Control team as a Risk Control Analyst.
This person will support the achievement of company and departmental goals as they relate to assessing, monitoring, and reporting the client's exposure to market, credit, regulatory and operational controls, and limits.
They will also assist with the assessment and management of the client's exposure to credit risk, counterparty risk and performance risk through the implementation and development of controls to limit unwanted exposure.
Lastly, they will assist the Director of Credit & Risk Control and VP of Risk Control in all controls related duties.
Maintain understanding of the energy industry and mega-trends related to market, operational, regulatory and credit controls Ensure compliance with Risk and Credit controls policy and procedureso Handle documentation and reporting of Risk Policy violationso Perform confirmation and reporting functionso Control deal entry accuracy of positions for the company to ensure transactions are 1) within risk exposure limitations as defined in the Risk Policy and 2) mirror traders' deal tickets Maintain high visibility within organization, and interface with all levels of management as appropriate Assist Director of Credit & Risk Control as assigned Working knowledge of Python Bachelor's degree (Master's highly favored) 5
years of experience in risk from a trading organizationo Knowledge of valuing deals, forward curves, deal structures Experience with SQL and VBA Proficient in Excel Data Driven, problem solver and a team player Experience with a ETRM Software o Horizon by Allegra preferred Recommended Skills Problem Solving Sql Databases Team Working Microsoft Excel Python (Programming Language) Financial Risk Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
