Manager, Clinical Information Systems

Job SummaryThis position promotes the understanding, integration, and application of healthcare information technology in support of clinician/provider objectives, the organization's vision, strategic goals, and industry best practices.
The Sr.
Manager of Clinical Implementation and Reporting oversees and drives the optimal, efficient, and effective use of clinical information systems and technology as it relates to user satisfaction, clinical productivity, and quality outcomes.
Clinical Systems Implementation will ensure successful implementation and training sessions to internal users and clients and will collaborate with the Product Team on clinical enhancements.
Clinical Reporting will ensure clients receive reporting detailing clinical analysis of high-cost members, as well as quarterly analytics of clinical programs' performance.
Essential Functions The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.
Lead the clinical reporting and analytics team, providing guidance and insight into how to utilize various systems/platforms available to provide the best reporting package to the client.
(20%) Develop protocols and provide education and insight into Communitas' clinical platforms and how the clinical team utilizes other platforms to ensure the highest performance (e.
g.
iiiput, Deerwalk, Power BI, etc.
).
Education may be to internal employees or affiliated Guidewell/Florida Blue employees that assist WebTPA/Communitas in our business models and functions.
(40%) Participate in product review and demonstrations for potential clinically related platforms and enhancements.
Lead and/or support integration between Communitas and third party vendors using the appropriate reporting tools and methodologies, such as documentation built.
Review, recommend and select curricula to support business needs.
(15%) Monitor system performance, and report to vendor and/or IT when anomalies, errors, inaccuracies, or inefficiencies occur.
Make recommendations, as needed, to insure optimal system performance.

years direct supervisory/management experience Required EducationRelated Bachelor's degree required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Required Licenses and CertificationsCurrent RN License required - Compact nursing license require if a state of residence is within the nursing compact.

years clinical experience in a hospital setting, carrier setting, or third-party administrator settingDemonstrates Flexibility and Supports ChangeAble to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with clinical and non-clinical employees, as well as analytical, interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Additional Preferred QualificationsExperienced with Electronic Healthcare record management and clinical workflows preferredPrevious Supervisor/Manager level experience preferredExperience in all Microsoft Word ApplicationsExperience working independently and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
