The right person will ensure that all private plan review and private inspection work is completed in a timely manner, clients are taken care of, and profitability numbers are reached.

Oversee the PPI operations that includes the administration team, Building Inspectors, and Plan Reviewers Ensure jobs are scheduled such that we are meeting this on a daily basis Ensure inspectors understand the big picture, can perform quality inspections and plan reviews, and are helping our clients Build Better.
Ensure that department team members understand how PPI interacts with other departments and cross-train as necessary to ensure this occurs Ensure that non-PPI department team members understand how PPI works and what they need to do/say on jobs we're performing PPI on.
Cross-train non-PPI team members as necessary.
Ensure a healthy, family friendly, and welcoming work environment/culture is maintained For Private Plan Review - Ensure turnaround goals are met Staff Chargeability:
Ensure all PPI team members are meeting multiplier goals Maintain appropriate staffing (based on upcoming jobs) Work to ensure growth goals of work per year are achieved Work with Legacy team members in other areas to be a resource for additional growth Work with Legacy team members to make sure they know which jobs need to be bid for PPI phase Utilize HubSpot to track client relationships and track Ensure billing is completed accurately and weekly Track project costs vs.
lump sum bill to ensure adequate pricing and margin Project profitability:
Set and maintain per-project profitability Work with A/R to track (and potentially avoid working for) collections and clients with negligent payment Be involved with at least one professional and one technical organization - for business and personal growth.
Lead in preparing quarterly and annual departmental plans.
Overall it should outline how we will grow, what markets/clients we expect work to come from and expected resources (budget and personnel) needed to provide said work.
Be present in weekly PPI inspector and PPI office meetings with the intent to lead them Keep the COO updated on:
Field operations Issues Metrics Proposed jobs/upcoming jobs Communicate with other department team leads so they understand PPIs goals, direction, and benefits provided to clients.
Understand the same for other departments.
