established in 1986 specializing in ocean export worldwide is seeking an enthusiastic and inspired colleague who is motived by collaboration and achievements for our Jacksonville, FL office.
Pricing Analyst Specific Duties:
Negotiate rates and service terms with vendors Develop carrier and vendor relationship Coordinate and finalize rate and service proposals for clients Seek the best routing and service mode for specific proposal which results success for both client and organization Internal customer service and interaction with Operations staff Market analysis through statistical analysis or other available media Assist and prepare required reports Ensure that any secured business is properly handed off to operations As needed, help to identify, and resolve any customer service delivery challenges Perform other position related duties as specified by management Education:
College education/ degree preferred with focus on business, economics, or logistics/ transportation.
Foreign language skills a plus
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of the logistical industry Excellent written and verbal presentation/ communication skills Ability to stay in tune with competitive market factors and seek opportunities to maximize profits Good negotiating skills Team player with ability to work under pressure Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
