Range Safety Officer and Sales Representative creates a safe and secure environment while educating customers and fulfilling their needs.
Our Range Safety Officer and Sales Representative work with a full selection of firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition.
Employees will work successfully in all departments of the store (handguns, long guns, etc.
) also work as Range Officers supervising our indoor shooting range, as well as assist with maintenance of indoor shooting range.
The successful candidate:
Has Gun Shop and/or Pawn Shop experience Has firearm/firearm regulation knowledge Takes pride in their work Has a strong sense of integrity and ambition Shows initiative Enjoys helping people and building relationships Is thorough and attentive to small details Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient Ability to work independently without supervision Ability to access and use the in-store computer, scanning system, and wireless handheld unit STORE ASSOCIATE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist customers with purchasing decisions and load outs Give consistent quality customer service ensuring a successful shopping experience Merchandise, stock, and assemble merchandise Be familiar with all advertised items and their locations Greet all customers who are within ten feet of you Practice sound safety knowledge & best practices for materials handling Use general office equipment to include a computer File paperwork quickly and accurately Ability to use point-of-sale system to complete transactions Frequently operate keyboard to enter information Ability to verbally communicate effectively with customers and co-workers (in-person and via electronic devices) Ability to move up to 20 pounds repetitively and 21-50 pounds intermittently Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time May be required to cross train and perform other duties Range Safety Officer Shipping and receiving packages Candidate must possess excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to always maintain a safe and secure working environment while maintaining a friendly disposition.
Gun shop and range experience is a plus! Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent - Must have either pawn shop or gun shop/range experience - Must be able to accomplish physical tasks such as lifting ammo cases and other regular shipments - Criminal background check(Must have clean background) - Bilingual (preferred) - Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
