Summary:
Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Provider Compensation Liaisonwill be responsible for providing leadership and guidance of all aspects of value-based care and to oversee the productivity-based compensation of our providers and their care teams.
Work directly with providers, giving them a clear guideline on metrics, reporting, and opportunities that align with company goals.
The Physician Liaisonwill assist in the implementation of company policies and procedures related to physician/provider payments, compliance, and financial reporting regarding provider contracts.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Travelling in the market50% of the timeto conduct1:
1s with physicians and their care teams monthlyincluding themedical director or chief physician in that market to review their Value-Based Care reporting,metrics, visits, charges, and specific performance scorecards.
Responsible for communicating with providers on the results of their monthly compensation incentives.
Help identify process improvement opportunities to support providers on reaching their value-based care performance and productivity goals.
Demonstrate a professional and effective face to face communication style and address issues as they arise.
Act promptly in routine situations while building a productive relationship and establishing rapport.
Create provider education materials on value-based care compensation.
Guide business and leadership in process improvement.
Leverage reporting benchmarks and MER (Medical Expense Ratio) success measures to prioritize efforts.
Analyze reports to identify and report value base care data trends to create opportunities for improvement as well as productivity reporting.
Provide written weekly reviews to the financial team on progress.
At the direction of CMO serves as communication liaison with all Complete Health departments and Legal Counsel as it applies to administration of the employed physician's contract.
Monitors all physician employment agreements, contract provisions, updates and revisions as required.
Assists and provide feedback to operations, development, and accounting in determining appropriate financial contract terms.
Ensures implementation and adherence for operational/contract changes.
Assists in the identification of areas of concern and develops a recommended course of action for contract problems requiring intervention or resolution.
Ensures the monthly provider bonuses are prepared accurately and timely.
Assists in the preparation of departmental annual operational and capital budgets, as well as interpretation and variance reporting as it relates to provider compensation.
Responsible for implementing specific policies in conjunction with legal, development, accounting, and operations, to ensure legal compliance with government regulations with respect to STARK and the Anti-Kick Back legislation governing referral source relationships and FMV.
Works with legal to ensure adherence to guidelines, rules, and regulations.
Assists legal in revising and updating agreements.
Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep current with national physician compensation trends and requirements.
Displays consistent behavior that enhances the public image of the organization as evidenced by professionalism in interactions with peers, subordinates, providers and other third parties.
Maintains strictest confidentiality in the areas appropriate to compensation.
Practices and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement.

Requirements:
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or other Related Area At least 5 years progressive work experience in financial analysis, accounting and/or auditing with supervisory responsibilities Experience with physician compensation contracts
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Skilled in analyzing trends.
Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, systems, and objectives.
Knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of legal forms and legal requirements for employed physician contracts and addendums.
Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
Skill in planning, organizing and supervising multiple assignments concurrently.
Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving and decision-making.
Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with legal counsel, provider care teams, and the Complete Health Management team.
Skill in developing comprehensive reports and analyzing/interpreting complex data.
Communicating effectively with others in writing as indicated by the needs of the audience.
Public speaking, legal testimony, extemporaneous speaking, and fielding questions of a complex nature.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
