This person must be able to lead a team of Business Development Mangers to succeed in both direct and indirect channel service sales. Person must also be able to cultivate relationships and leverage other Schneider Electric sales teams to achieve targets. The candidate must be knowledgeable in digital energy management systems and consulting services while also demonstrate a strong business acumen. This role is responsible for the business development team quality through effective hiring, performance management, training, coaching, and showing leadership. The candidate will execute complex business development strategy and be held accountable for not only sales; but also forecasting, managing a budget, and driving a team to achieve Key Performance Metrics required for overall success. The Area Manager will lead a team of business developers focused on promoting consultative services and electrical distribution infrastructure upgrades to create IoT enabled equipment, install power quality improvement solutions, and capture new service plans that utilize EcoStruxure Advisory Services. The position requires strong talents in both leadership and business development skill sets. It is very beneficial to be accomplished at demand creation, that is develop projects and strategies utilizing consultative selling to develop projects addressing sustainability, reliability, resilience, and safety. Qualifications This job might be for you if:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology combined with 10
years of relevant experience. Other near equivalent education and experience will be considered. Masters Degree preferred. Team oriented with a collaborative work style Computer proficiency in MS Office, Visio, Human Machine Interfaces and programmable controllers Ability to work and contribute as an effective team leader in a fast paced deadline driven environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Ability to travel up to 40% Experience with digital energy management systems and controls Consulting experience a plus Ability to think outside of the box Strong cross-functional partnering skills Ability to travel up to 30% in US
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Business Development, SalesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
