Job Details Description The Digital Marketing team at First Horizon is looking for a talented VP/AVP, Social Media Director to lead social media strategy across platforms and disciplines. This person will direct internal and external resources to elevate our social practice across marketing, community management, customer care, client engagement, content, thought leadership, recruiting, lead generation, etc. Reporting to the SVP, Digital Marketing and Paid Media, the role involves partnering with a wide variety of internal stakeholders including:
Marketing, Creative, MarTech, Analytics, CX, Corporate Communications, Customer Care, HR, Bankers, Advisors and other business leaders. Specific Responsibilities Include:
Overall management and leadership of social media strategy and activation across platforms Provide leadership, supervision and guidance to Social Media Associate(s) and external agencies Serve as social media subject matter expert; keep up with social marketing trends, industry and competitor trends, changes/enhancements to social media channels, etc. Lead engagement with functional teams to align social media program with firmwide goals and initiatives Manage external relationships with agencies, social platforms, technology vendors, etc. Establish and lead social governance and standard methodologies for social media use including owned channel content, social selling, crisis management, employee advocacy, influencer engagement, etc. Ensure cross-functional alignment to drive effective, cohesive and on-brand social strategies while advancing social innovation and processes Develop and lead vital social training for associates including but not limited to strategy, mentorship, resources management, social media trends and documentation for standard methodologies Drive corporate social media policy and strategies, including crisis and customer care support, identifying issues in real-time while working across internal teams to respond effectively Develop and be responsible for community and reputation management strategies across a variety of audiences Provide regular partner reports that analyze the success of social media activity in helping to achieve goals and provide recommended solutions for improvement Monitor competitive landscape, industry best practices, social media tools and refresh/update training and guidance documents as needed Work with enterprise digital and technology teams to create connectivity to digital ecosystem, enhancing social media capabilities and experience Manage relationship with Legal, Risk and Compliance to monitor and maintain program compliance with industry regulations and firm policies Generate reports and provide insights for business partners on user engagement, adoption and success of the program Support regional and local marketing events and requests Drive social media adoption and enablement goals through development and execution of internal campaigns Skills &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required 8-10 years of work experience in digital platforms, social media or equivalent required Deep understanding of LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter required Experience using social media management systems for social selling strongly preferred Specific experience with Hootsuite, Hearsay and/or Salesforce a strong plus Work experience in Financial Services or highly regulated industry a plus Resourceful problem-solver who is comfortable with new technologies and concepts Curious, self-reliant, organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills Highly collaborative, self-motivated, results-oriented and a creative thinker Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Digital Marketing & Social MediaEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
