Created in 2005, Renewal has completed over $700 million in rehabilitation work in over 35 buildings containing more than 9,000 apartments.
Renewal specializes in tenant-in-place rehabs in some of the most complex settings throughout the American northeast.
Renewal also has acted as an owners rep in over $200 million of Omnis ground-up portfolio, including the largest affordable passive house in North America Classification- Exempt Reports to- Renewal Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Oversee quality control inspections and overall coordination and scheduling of subcontractor work.
Review and coordinate architectural and shop drawings.
Prepare redlined drawings based on as-built and filed conditions.
Assist with scope and bidding walk through and takeoffs.
Finalize construction schedule upon release of project phases.
Prepare Daily Reports, conducting daily walkthrough and subcontractor work status update.
Monitor subcontractor adherence to schedule, report any shift to Project Manager and coordinate with subcontractor any required schedule recovery plan.
Manage punch list process to prepare work for final inspections.
Keep record of all required and completed DOB inspections.
Participate in weekly trade meetings.
Prepare construction sign-off along with senior management.
Assist with final scope development.
Support Project Manager with project logistics and adherence to project timelines.
Attend field meetings and generate daily reports of field progress and sign-in sheets to the Project Manager.
Ensure that the construction site is safe and free from any hazardous chemicals or objects.
Report accidents that occur at the construction site to the Project Manager.
Maintain good relationships with site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Manage material deliveries and stocks.
Ensure that any change in project plan is executed by subcontractors
Ensure that the project is executed in compliance with relevant regulations.
Essential Requirements:
Bachelors degree in construction management or relevant specialization
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Construction industry, with extensive experience in the renovations of occupied apartments
Knowledge of reading blueprints
40 hours of OSHA certification training
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
SST, Superintendents License, RRP and Asbestos Certificate a PLUS
