Job Description The Business Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers, understanding the complex nature of the company's business and products offered, and aligning business and system requirements for receipt and processing of bordereaus and cash.
The position will own multiple MGA's/customers and handle their operational processing.
Complete processing and reconciliation of bordereaus and cash includes file review, integration into systems, research and resolution of differences and applying and tracking receivables.
The Business Relationship Manager pro-actively manages the overall operational relationship with MGA's/customers and is a trusted partner working directly with our Specialty Sales, Underwriting, Financial and IT teams.
Develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external MGA's/customers to understand the needs of the business and operational processing requirements of Fortegra Understand business, product, and system requirements to manage Specialty business Receive and process business to include bordereau mapping, validation, and processing Reconcile business processed and monitor and track receivables Monthly and quarterly analytics as assigned, including research of variances Identify and review controls for operational processes.
Audit request tracking and support preparation/gathering.
Establish realistic expectations to develop and support trust with internal and external customers Identify opportunities and create pro-active solutions, while resolving existing challenges Handling complaints and escalations, assessing the complaints and implementing corrective action as needed Other Ad-hoc requirements as needed The above cited duties and responsibilities describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to the job.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience 7-9 years insurance industry knowledge with experience engaging business stakeholders regarding client initiatives, operational functions and process automation and efficiencies c 7 years minimum of insurance industry knowledge and accounting/finance work experience Comprehensive understanding of administrative operations, information systems, business processes, and reconciliations Advanced MS Excel skills Experience managing projects with structured governance and reporting Experience shaping business partner demand and understanding and solving business challenges Ability to partner and collaborate with all levels of personnel Excellent written and verbal communications skills and negotiation capabilities Superb analytical and technical skills and attention to detail Additional InformationFull benefit package including medical, dental, life, vision, company paid short/long term disability, 401(k), tuition assistance and more.
