Job Description:
As a Security Patrol Officer at Coastal Security, your primary responsibility will be to maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients.
You will be responsible for conducting routine patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, and responding to security incidents as they arise.
The Security Patrol Officer plays a vital role in deterring criminal activity and ensuring the well-being of all individuals within the assigned area.
Key
Responsibilities:

Patrol and Surveillance:
Conduct regular patrols of the designated area, including premises, parking lots, and other relevant locations to detect and prevent security breaches.
2.
Incident Response:
Respond promptly to incidents, and calls for service.
Take appropriate actions to resolve issues and report incidents to the supervisor.
3.
Access Control:
Control and monitor access to the premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter secured areas.
Verify identification of individuals as needed.
4.
Report Writing:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of security-related activities, including incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation as required.
5.
Customer Service:
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while providing exceptional customer service.
Answer inquiries and provide assistance as necessary.
6.
Security Measures:
Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a high level of security awareness and compliance.
7.
Conflict Resolution:
Handle conflicts and security incidents professionally and diplomatically.
Utilize de-escalation techniques when necessary.
8.
Safety Inspections:
Perform safety inspections and identify potential hazards or security risks.
Report findings to the appropriate authorities.
Requirements:
1.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education and certifications are a plus.
2.
Proven experience as a Security Patrol Officer or in a related field.
3.
Valid security license or guard card as required by local regulations.
4.
Proficiency in the use of security equipment and surveillance systems.
5.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
8.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and perform security duties for extended periods.
9.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
10.
Clean criminal record and a high level of integrity.
