Summary:
This is an entry-level position for a candidate that is excited to start a career in estimating with a stable company that has been in business for more than 40 years.
The Estimator will learn the basics using takeoff software to estimate construction plans.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Construct and maintain current and accurate estimates for all base plans Construct option assemblies Prepare take-offs for required materials Create and review purchase orders for quantity and pricing Distribute purchase orders to the proper vendor/supplier Maintain and update options pricing Maintain construction budgets and ensure compliance Update and maintain Marks System for accurate costing Ensure product specification changes are processed Assist VP of Purchasing in generating projected costs for future communities and new plans Closely work with estimating team on accuracy of plans for bidding and takeoffs Minimum
Qualifications:
AA/AS or BA/BS in construction management or finance is strongly preferred Related experience in lieu of degree is acceptable Experience with a homebuilder in Estimating is a plus, but not necessary Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$40,000.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
