Your sense of accomplishment will build with each new home as you manage 30
subcontractors and the building process with full accountability for quality.
Using your organizational and motivational talents, balancing field management with office activities, you and your teammates will help to create a neighborhood you can be proud of.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a focus on customer delight and sense of urgency.
Job
Responsibilities:
Managerial oversight of multiple new home builds in varying stages of construction Planning, scheduling, implementation and coordination of quality-built homes from development through final construction, on a timely and economical basis.
Schedule and manage subcontractors and sub-contractor relationships in order to build homes on-schedule and close on time.
Managing and inspecting the quality of work that is performed by subcontractors.
Hold subcontractors accountable for quality of construction, productivity and compliance with building/safety standards.
Oversee the scheduling, delivery and use of materials on the job site Maintain safe, clean and compliant job sites Track and control construction costs against the budget in order to avoid cost overruns Complete homes and all customer walk-through items prior to closing Build rapport with customers and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the building process Regularly conduct Home Buyer Meetings with customers Collaborate with DWH Team Members, particularly the sales team, to deliver on quality and service Prepare reports and other responsibilities as needed Job Requirements:
Ability to establish good working relationships with a variety of people, including upper management, designers, sales, trades, vendors & customers.
Should be able to build rapport and maintain Customer Satisfaction during the buying/building process Knowledge of Construction Practices and Terminology.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction documents.
Ability to supervise effectively at all levels & with a variety of personalities.
Motivate building partners to perform at a high level of competency.
Manage time effectively, multi-task & prioritize in order to meet established goals & deadlines Computer proficiency required to handle job costing, payroll & communication with vendors & trades Decisive, flexible & works well under pressure when faced with unexpected situations or delays and in a very fast-paced environment Can analyze & resolve problems.
