IT Project Tech Lead

Participates in the planning, execution and delivery of complex business projects. Manages risk by using established technology delivery management processes to address execution challenges associated with quality, schedule and cost. Leads, defines and manages projects and project plans to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives. Serves as a resource to team members on escalated issues, guiding them in the development and delivery of their work product.
Job Duties:
Ability to interpret business requirements into technology specifications. Acquires and applies advanced knowledge of the business, its products and processes. Collaborates on creative alternatives to challenges; partners to drive adoption and challenge standards. Leads subject matter experts to resolve challenges.
Assume accountability for project delivery against heighten standards in terms of quality and timeliness
Ensure agreement on scope and objectives amongst all project stakeholders across GCT NA.
Direct project managers to ensure effective project execution, risk and issue identification, management and escalation
Provide Anti-Money Laundering and regulatory program subject matter expertise and decision making capability across all project phases and execution levels.
Synthesizes analyses, identifies root causes and develops and recommends key work products.
Provides insight to management on issues.
Manages budgets on the medium to high range of project budgets.
Ensures achievement of business goals and objectives by proactively communicating with project stakeholders.
Facilitates development of project plans related to schedule, budget, scope and resources. Monitors project execution to deliver incremental business value.
Understands each project's critical path activities and proactively manages those to project's benefit.
Collaborates on creative alternatives to project challenges; partners to drive adoption and challenge standards.
Leads subject matter experts to resolve project challenges.
Ability to interpret business requirements into technology specifications.
Maintain relationships with client base at all levels.
Bachelor's degree preferred
5-7 years' experience managing new technology projects.
Five or more year's relevant business support and/or general analysis experience.
Advanced knowledge of project management methodology
Advanced knowledge of multiple technical software delivery life cycles.
Working knowledge of PM tools such as MS Project, PlanView, OPPM
Self-starter, able to work closely (sometimes lead) virtual teams.
Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
Multi-tasking
Preferred:
2 years of Financial Services Regulatory experience (AML Transaction Monitoring, AML KYC, CCAR, FED MOU)
3 years of Financial Services industry experience (e.g., Credit Card, Risk Management, Decision Management, Finance, Marketing, Partnership Relationship Management)
5 years Client Relationship Management experience. Familiarity with Waterfall & Agile Methodology.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
