The Team
We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Aviation Practice.
Our aviation experts are recognized, industry leaders who provide cutting-edge solutions that shape the future of aviation in four broad service areas: airfields, buildings, environmental, and planning. From large hub to small hub, commercial to private, you can help create aviation systems that serve communities around the world.
The Opportunity
In this position, you will work on the design and construction of Aviation building projects including terminal buildings, support facilities and electrical site design. Design functions will include design of power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm systems. You will coordinate and work closely with other Engineers and Architects as part of a multidiscipline team or work on independent electrical tasks. Additionally, you should have at least 3 to 5 years' experience in Electrical Engineering of building design, have the ability develop construction documents and be able to write technical reports. Familiarity with NEC is required.
Qualifications:
BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
3 to 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering design of building systems, preferably with Aviation buildings
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office
Registered EIT, PE registration is preferred or must be able to obtain PE within 12 months
Revit Proficiency
Some travel may be required (domestic and international)
