The Process Technician provides operational, maintenance, technical and process support for the production lines in a continuous 24/7 manufacturing environment. This includes operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the equipment while adhering to strict safety procedures; performing routine and non-routine maintenance as well as assisting with preventive maintenance; and performing routine cleaning and clearing of equipment jams. Other key responsibilities include: training and developing others in line management while reducing uptime variability and addressing equipment reliability issues; utilizing Process Excellence tools; maintaining current knowledge and adhering to provisions of FDA, OSHA, GMP, MPs, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 as well as equipment and process specifications. This position also provides operations support for new products and new installations; creating, reviewing, and updating operating manuals and procedures; maintenance and calibration procedures; and referring to training manuals as required by the scope of the projects that are assigned. The Process Technician also investigates alternative methods and procedures to reduce variability and improve equipment reliability; assists in the design of experiments under operational and developmental conditions to increase yields and improve machine reliability, repeatability and standardization; Adheres to environmental safety, ergonomics and hazardous energy control procedures and supports department environmental objectives; provides technical training and certification assistance for qualifying technicians on the operation and troubleshooting of the production machinery and process.
Physical demands of the position include stooping, walking, pulling, lifting (up to 23 pounds), hearing, visual acuity, kneeling, reaching, and standing.
Qualifications
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 2 years of college in a technical discipline emphasizing electro-mechanical, PLC, pneumatics or the equivalent industrial experience is preferred. A minimum of up to 2 years maintenance and/or engineering experience or the equivalent is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to organize and prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks is required. The ability to work a 6 am to 6 pm (day shift) OR 6 pm to 6 am (night shift) on a continuous operations schedule in addition to every other weekend is required.

All candidates are required to successfully pass a written skills assessment test and management interview.
Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills in the following areas are strongly preferred: process improvement, line knowledge, PLC systems, electro-mechanical devices, robotic/servo systems, safety devices, equipment installation, debug and qualification, control circuitry development, equipment prototyping, production start-up, equipment process development and mechanical devices, controller, mechanical parts design, tooling experience, materials/metal working, and mechanical power transmission. A working knowledge of Process Excellence tools and three phase electricity is desired. Experience working in a medical device manufacturing facility on a high volume production line environment within a continuous operation schedule is preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
