Position Description This Position is responsible for answering telephones, inputting orders and other data, and ensuring that every incoming call is treated in a professional and efficient manner.
Also, this position provides administrative support to Managers, Supervisors, and any others requesting departments.
This position requires strong practical and technical skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively.
It requires the ability to handle multiple tasks.
The Receptionist will also be able to take clear complete messages and communicate them in a timely fashion, greet visitors and employees in a pleasant, friendly and courteous manner at all times, and be dependable, reliable and accountable for attendance to effectively cover the front line of the company.
Responsibilities:
Manage and schedule travel and meetings Organize and provide documents and reports and information in a useful and well-organized manner Greet visitors and employees in a friendly and courteous manner at all times Politely and efficiently handle telephone system.
Routing all calls to appropriate individual or taking time and date stamped messages.
Must be able to open the office daily.
Keep updated phone list of all employees.
Send and receive faxes while having the appropriate cover and acknowledgement of receipt.
Enter product purchase orders and maintain database on a weekly basis Responsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies for the office and distributing all supplies, when delivered to appropriate persons.
Provide clerical support to other areas within the Company, as needed.
Perform other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma plus additional specialized training in general administrative practices.
Strong communication and customer service skills along with a professional appearance required.
3-5 years administrative assistant experience High proficiency in all MS Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Excellent customer service skills Ability to handle multiple projects Excellent written and verbal skills Job Type:
