Summary:
We're a small IT Team in a healthcare organization, supporting remote users nationwide.
The Remote Support Specialist is vital for providing technical help to remote users and ensuring their equipment runs smoothly.
Responsibilities include addressing helpdesk tickets, guiding users in hardware setup, providing IT orientation training, and managing equipment inventory, with duties split between working in the office for shipping and working from home in a support role.
This position requires excellent communication skills, time management, and attention to detail.

Job Type:
Part-Time (20 hours per week, Monday - Friday) with potential for Full-Time Location:
Split between a small office in Jacksonville, FL and remote work Key Responsibilities Remote Support Helpdesk Support:
Assist users with setting up and configuring their equipment.
Conduct IT orientation sessions for remote users, familiarizing them with company systems and policies.
Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets and requests in a timely manner.
Address user inquiries and resolve technical issues promptly and professionally.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues through remote assistance.
Escalate complex issues to appropriate personnel when necessary.
Equipment Management:
Receive, inspect, and inventory incoming and outgoing equipment.
Ensure all equipment is maintained and in working order.
Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Reliable transportation for dropping off equipment at the shipper.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 / 11 Professional and Microsoft desktop and cloud applications.
Technical proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting.
Familiarity with laptops and mini desktop computers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote user support.
Experience with inventory management is a plus.
Ability to work independently and efficiently while documenting your work and communicating with team members.
Willingness to grow and take on more responsibilities as the position evolves into a full-time role.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data security requirements.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
