Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll and Human Resource Administrator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of both HR and payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, and providing support in various HR capacities.
Key
Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration:
Process bi-weekly/weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in job positions.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries regarding payroll.
Human Resources Support:
Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, organizing resumes, and setting up interviews.
Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system.
Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes.
Coordinate and administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits.
Support the management in implementing HR policies and procedures.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Prepare various reports for management, such as payroll summaries, headcount, and turnover statistics.
Stay updated with the latest trends and changes in HR and payroll regulations.
Other Duties:
Assist in organizing company events, training sessions, and other HR-related activities.
Handle employee grievances and concerns in a confidential and effective manner.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Outgoing and positive, a people person.
Minimum of 2 years in payroll administration.
Familiarity with labor laws and payroll tax regulations.
Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Must be able to pass a background and credit check.
