Sun Coast Hydraulic Electric Sun Coast Hydraulic Electric Jacksonville, FL Jacksonville, FL Full-time Full-time $18 - $24 an hour $18 - $24 an hour Industrial Production and Spray Paint Technician The industrial Production Technician assists the Hydraulic Production Department in assembling, painting, and testing hydraulic and pneumatic engineered systems projects.
This position is 80% industrial painting and 20% metal work.
Required:
High School Diploma 1 year of electrical and hydraulic experience Preferred:
2 - 5 years of electrical and hydraulic experience MIG welding Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Work with engineering staff on the initial design, specifications, and overall layout of systems.
Identify and integrate the components and materials utilized in each system.
Perform final testing of the completed system and document results.
Selecting and mixing coating paints to desired color and prepare spraying equipment such as cleaning or adjusting spray guns.
Be capable of reading and understanding technical documents such as paint mixing procedures, and maintaining sprayer equipment as required.
Have the ability and desire to become efficient with painting techniques, meet company productivity rates, maintain mil thickness, and learn all aspects of job as required.
Cleaning spraying equipment with solvent or other recommended cleaning solutions daily.
Maintaining the paint mix room while following the company safety policies.
Maintaining proper respirator care and operation and using the breathing air supply system when spraying epoxy paints.
Complete technical documentation for completed projects.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 - 5 years of electrical and hydraulic experience MIG welding Ability to follow direction and request assistance when needed throughout construction process.
Ability to successfully prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
Ability to focus and pay attention to details.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
Must be able to access, build, and inspect all areas of machinery.
