Job Purpose Responsible for support and coordination for developing and disseminating informational materials or products by performing various tasks that follow set policies and procedures.
Competencies for this role are typically gained through specialized or on-the-job training.
Duties and responsibilities Typical responsibilities are outlined below to show examples of work to be performed by positions in this role and are not intended to be all-inclusive.
Some duties may overlap levels, however; the preponderance of the work will be assessed when assigning positions to specific levels.
Communications & Marketing Support Assists with digital systems and workflow management.
Manages digital communications systems.
Proofs and edits materials for basic grammatical content.
Reviews documents for compliance with style and brand guidelines, consistency, and formatting.
Distributes communications/marketing materials to intended audiences.
Performs marketing, content, and feature research.
Project Support Coordinates digital systems management with on-site teams.
Tracks projects and oversees production schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
Digital/Website Support Creates calendar events, posts content, monitors, and assists with generating ideas for better utilization of digital systems.
Updates websites and revises content from the information provided.
Designs, develops and builds web pages which might include some programming.

Maintain electronic and manual storage of communication media and files.
Logistical Support Reconciles logs, trackers, and project schedules.
Updates and maintains databases.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Entry-level role that performs routine, standardized, well-defined tasks following standard policies and guidelines.
Provides resolution to problems that have clearly defined solutions.
Work is closely supervised and reviewed for accuracy.
Knowledge, skills and abilities Minimum requirements for role include the following:
Knowledge of style and communications standards.
Knowledge of basic design principles.
Computer skills.
Organizations skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Education/Experience Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
