13, Engineering Technician VI - Command, Control and Intelligence Systems GENERAL
Experience:
Qualified candidates must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
SPECIFIC
Experience:
Qualified candidates must have a combination of mechanical, and electrical disciplines as well as:
a) Full time, hands-on experience in the accomplishment of Fleet Technical Assistance, Assessments, and Logistical Support of U.
S.
Navy ships' Command, Control and Intelligence Systems.
b) Full time, hands-on experience in interpreting shipboard technical documents to assess, repair, and document equipment deficiencies and configure equipment in alternate structures to meet mission requirements.
c) Be eligible to receive and maintain a valid U.
S.
Passport.
If not in possession of a valid U.
S.
passport, must show evidence of having applied for a U.
S.
passport at the time of hiring.
d) Be able to show proof of having been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work on this contract.
Education/Certification Requirements:
Must possess and submit proof of a current IAT Level I IA baseline certification per DoD 8570.

Must maintain IA certification and attain continuing education credits in accordance with SECNAVIST 1543.

Must possess and submit proof of current CE/OS certificate (any individual or combination of the following:
CISCO (CCNA or Red Hat Enterprise LINUX RHEL ), Microsoft Server (2012 or higher), VMWare).
