Retail Merchandiser Contract Duties Include:
Merchandising Create effective merchandising that attracts, engages and connects with customers to influence and encourage purchase decisions Organize and assemble promotional, seasonal or specific set:
ups Update and position current signage and graphics Set mannequins and forms featuring key items as instructed Ensure apparel is properly folded or hung according to client standards Check products to ensure they properly tagged, tucked and/or concealed Ensure specific SKUs are represented on the sales floor per client directive Awareness of merchandising transitions and flow of customers, keeping aisles clear of debris or clutter Ensure products are well stocked and filled on a routine basis Maintenance and Cleaning Maintain fixtures, mannequins and props, ensuring they are clean and good working order Ensure products are clean and in pristine condition Clean, dust and ensure fixtures, shelves and tables are in superior working order Clean glass surfaces surrounding products Ensure floors are clean and free of debris Scheduling Schedule visits up to one month in advance Check and update schedules on a weekly basis Set contract schedule and adhere to schedule Reporting Properly document store visit Report via electronic communications Take proper before, during and after photographs per client standards Prepare evaluation of current and future projects communicating unresolved issues or specific challenges in meeting expectations of implementation Communications and Relationships Assume positive intent seeking understanding first, followed by appropriate action Maintain positive attitude and professional relationship toward customers and store personnel, processes and Franklin Retail Contractor is responsible for continuous, effective communication with Franklin Retail Contractor will participate in all client training programs and stay current with current clients and consumer needs Contractor will build proactive relationship with site managers and outline intended plan for visit Review stores and gain assessments from site managers Prepare and plan for areas of focus in future visits Ability to elevate issues as needed following proper protocol, alerting the district manager Travel Willingness to travel to within designated region for contract coverage Hardware Requirements Contractor must have high speed internet connection and ability to open.
