Rose formatted resume, original resume, completed Questionnaire (attached above) and completed authorization form (attached above) This position is responsible for working directly with department users to translate business requirements into definition requirement documents for the Information Technology staff.
This includes development of business requirements, and assisting in the design, testing, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of department/division systems.
Additional responsibilities include quality assurance system testing, technical support, documentation, and training to departmental users.
Daily Functions:
Modelsethical behavior and execute job responsibilities in accordance with Citizens core values and ethics policies.
Acts as IT liaison between business unit and personal or commercial vendors.
Serves as department interface to IT for personal or commercial systems development and implementation including preparing detailed business requirements documents.
Develops implementation and testing plans and assists in coordinating testing of commercial systems.
Interviews clients to define the scope of the project development or enhancement and interface with clients and IT to manage project expectations.
Works with IT Business Analyst/Project Manager to develop project plans and document requirements.
Obtain time and duration estimates from concerned departments.
Acts as liaison between technical, design and production teams during development lifecycle.
Assists in the establishment and development of policies, procedures, practices and methods for departmental processing using new or existing system.
Reviews and assists in preparation of special projects and reports.
MUST HAVES:
Knowledge of principles, practices, methods, procedures and theories of property and casualty insurance.
Knowledge of information technology and insurance information system development.
Knowledge of technology and how it plays a role in business processes.
Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to establish attainable goals, objectives, and work plans.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS or related field OR relevant experience equivalent to 4 years of college education and work experience relevant to this position.
Two years business analyst experience or related project management experience in IT Two or more years of property and casualty insurance experience.
NICE TO HAVES:
Four or more years of business analyst experience or related project management experience in IT, related to insurance software Four or more years of property and casualty insurance experience.
Experience in facilitating the design and maintenance of web:
based applications.
Experience with Citizens systems such as ePAS, AS400, POINT, CTS, ImageRight, et al Source:
.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
