Job Description:
Warehouse Specialist :
Perform receipt process for parts/stowage of material.
Repackage damaged or improperly packaged kits as directed.
Actual building of Aircraft Modification Kits.
:
Delivers and returns kits to Defense Logistics Agency, Building 175, Defense Depot, NAS Jacksonville.
Requirements High School or GED equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of directly related work experience in logistics, supply, or related areas of work or military training in logistics or supply arena required.
Additional Requirements :
Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
:
Ability to successfully complete a Government Agency Background Investigation/Security Clearance; US Citizenship is required.
:
Understanding of Naval Aviation retrofit and MILSTRIP procedures.
:
Must be capable of lifting and moving up to 60 lbs.
multiple times during an 8 hour work day.
:
Experienced working with MS Office, Outlook and Adobe PDF software programs.
:
Knowledge of NAVAIR acquisition/purchasing, naval supply system procedures.
:
Ability to sit, stand and stoop for prolonged periods of time.
:
Must be able to interact/correspond with Government Customers via phone, face to face.
Desired :
Ability to work within other software programs and desire to learn more on own that will enhance current knowledge.
:
Experience working with Citrix, Navy ERP and DLA with a working knowledge of the Navy Supply System.
