Principal Presales Solution Engineer Information Technology - Computer Software Information Technology - Sales Engineer Full-time The Compensation $100k to $140k Benefits - Full Commission Compensation - No Bonus Eligible - Yes Overtime Eligible - No Interview Travel Reimbursed - Yes Detailed Description These positions may work remotely out of a home office, or out of a local Company Software office if applicable.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Active participation in opportunity discovery and sales strategy sessions o Build and perform prospect relevant presentations and solution demonstrations, delivered in-person and remotely o Active participation in scoping and executing client Proofs of Concept (POCs) o Active participation in after sale transition to consulting services o Contribute to written proposals and RFP responses o Stay current on industry / technical trends, developments Education/Work Requirements:
o Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience required o 5-10
years of experience in enterprise software Presales o Must be highly organized, with attention to detail o Must have effective decision making abilities o Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills o Effective time management, multitasking and prioritization skills a must o Up to 70% travel required Specialized Skills and
Experience:
o Strong domain expertise in either:
o Master Data Management o Marketing o Predictive Analytics, relative to Marketing o Customer Communication Management o Understanding of Web-based application architectures preferred o Proven track record of sales success in a Presales role o Experience and strong desire to work in a dynamic, responsive, fast-paced sales organization o Ability to demonstrate the value of a solution (not demonstrate functionality) to advance the sale o Ability to build a strong working relationship and credibility with both the prospect and the Software opportunity team o Strong sense of teamwork, integrity, self-motivation and positive attitude o Strong problem solving skills This position offers a great opportunity to be an integral part of a progressive, growing company fueled by intelligent, driven and committed employees.
